Political normativity workshop with researchers from the University of Granada

Research on political normativity explores what alternatives exist for evaluating political action, beyond and/or complementing morality. Contributing to the debate recently revived by realist political theory, researchers from the University of Granada, Lilian Bermejo-Luque and Javier Rodríguez-Alcázar, participated in a joint online workshop with members of the Political normativity project at the HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences Institute for Political Science. One of the central topics of the workshop was the interpretation of Bernard Williams’s work within different approaches to political normativity, as well as the exploration of further perspectives that offer alternatives to both realism and moralism.
